My journey started out as a student from as early as 2020, when I started an online course with one of the leading German Institutions. At the time my learning started remotely from my home country Jamaica and the intention was to eventually move to Germany, which I did. As is expected when living in a new country, you learn the language to communicate and navigate your way around. So I continued learning the language from the basic level. Learning and applying the German language wasn’t easy so eventually I had to find a way to cope and appreciate the journey. Then came my Tiktok Channel. Some persons retain information by speaking out loud and I am one of them. So when I share on my channel I am either reinforcing what I already know or trying to appreciate new material. Eventually I realized how much I was not only helping myself but also others. That was even more motivating for me. Four years later here comes the idea to launch a website through which fellows German Learners can register to receive help in the areas of the German Language where I believe I have mastered. This is not to say there will not be tiny mistakes along the way or moments when something slips. What is important is that I conscious in these moments and will take the correct course of action. I am honored and excited at the same time to continue to help others, more in an intimate way, to have a solid start to their German learning journey.
